This German issue has the "...A Division of Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer Inc" on the label radius text.
Other German issue with rimtext "...A division of Löew`s Incorporated" [r=9345838]
The Zappa statement on the cover reads;
"A curiously inconsistent piece which started out to be a BALLET but probably didn't make it".
This is then followed by the orchestra's title and then the caveat "With maybe even some of the Mothers Of Invention".
In line with his comment on WOIIFTM ("Is this phase one of Lumpy Gravy?" - which was NOT intended for its external back face), Zappa ties up this issue with a 'speakbubble' comment on the back of the laminated outer: "Is this phase 2 of: We're Only In It For The Money?".
FZ provides further statements on the unlaminated black & white center spread of the gatefold sleeve;
"This album was recorded in February of 1967"
"NOTE: Listen to side one first and turn it all the way up!!"
The orchestra credits are in printed list form. The chorus has been added by hand, with a note to omit last names, but some are included & struck thru.
Themes in this work can be picked up in the work Zappa completed before his death: [r1386901]
