The writers credit for track A3 states "Model" on the labels, but from the liner notes it is clear that A3 was written by Ben Webster.
Procedure as described by Leonard Feather (who did the travelling with the tape) in the liner notes:
1st Session (basic tape with spaces for additional sessions) recorded in New York with Clark Terry, J.J. Johnson, Ben Webster, Hank Jones, Kenny Burrell, George Duvivier, Jo Jones.
2nd Session on June 22, 1959 (additions to first session) recorded in London with Roy East, George Chisholm, Ronny Ross.
3rd Session (June 30) in Stockholm added Ake Persson.
4th and final session on July 3 in Paris (additions to the tape) with Roger Guerin, Bob Garcia, Martial Solal, Stephane Grapelli. The European contributors heard the tape in full hi-fi conditions via loudspeakers and were recorded with this background.
